The best way to debug is with the use of the filter, please refer the logging section for more detail on how to set this up. Below is a basic configuration for configuring two different syslog servers that gives the correct format for NetSight. Both use the “DefaultFilter”, but one is set to a severity of ‘Debug-Data’ (and higher) and the other is set to ‘Info’ (and higher). In addition, an exclude has been added to the “DefaultFilter” to remove DM.Notice messages. More on the use of the “DefaultFilter” later.

EXOS – ACL’s

ACL’s can be created in two ways. The first is to create a policy (static ACL) with “if”, “then” statements the other is to use the ‘Dynamic’ ACL format.
